We salute and congratulate DR. CHIE UMANDAP for he deserves the Bagong Bayani Award this year 2011. This man is untiringly helping our FILCOMM and even the poorest of the poor in our home country. His Filipino Badminton Committee (FBC) is very much appreciated also by compatriots in Kuwait which he founded way back four years. Their efforts are seen and felt by Filipinos all over the world.
Tomorrow, November 22, 2011 there shall be a Filipino leaders gathering in honor of him as deserving awardee. Anytime he will fly and be with our RP President Benigno Aquino to receive his award in Malacanang Palace.
After his visit to our RP President, he will go to Mindanao to donate gifts to poor children as early Christmas presents from FBC family and personal resources.
Life must go on always with good deeds Doctor!
Continue to be strong in leading people and pursue the good cause you have started.
The Church of Kuwait will hold A Golden Jubilee Choral Festival 2011 on November 24, 2011
All are invited to witness our 2nd Choral Festival 2011 in Honor of St. Cecilia, the patroness of musicians and so with the commemoration of 50 years celebration of the Holy Family Cathedral Parish, Kuwait City.
Around 21 choirs from all over the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia will be performing this November 24, 2011 at 7 o’ clock in the evening with lots of surprises.
The Voice of Pinoy will livestream this golden event through http://voiceofpinoy.com 12 midnight Manila time.
Some souvenir golden medals will be awarded to best participants and to some guests. Each medal costs one dinar (Php 156) and you may order at the office.

The Holy Family Cathedral Parish of the local Church in Kuwait will celebrate its 50 years. This is very timely also that Kuwait as a nation celebrates this year its 50 years and 20 years in freedom from foreign hands.
The 50 years of Kuwait Cathedral will be enveloped with series of activities till the celebration somewhere in November this year.
This golden year will be a great opportunity for all the faithful of this parish to thank the Lord for his goodness and continuous blessings.
May the Lady of Arabia will continue to help and grant our prayers. May her maternal protection will aid us to be one in heaven where God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit reign forever and ever.
